About the basilica
The Oudenbosch Basilica, in full "The Basilica of the H.H. Agatha and Barbara", is a unique basilica in the center of Oudenbosch in the Western part of the North-Brabant province. Pastor Hellemons gave order in 1865 to build a brand-new basilica similar to the St. Peters Basilica in Rome.
The basilica still acts as a house of prayer, but is also accessible for tourists during opening hours. There is no entry fee. If you would like a guided tour with a (private) guide, you can get in touch through our contact form. Of course, if you would like to explore the basilica by yourself, you're welcome to do so. There are audio tours available at the service desk.
